A recipe didn't extract correctly — what can I do?
Some websites block automated access or use unusual formatting. Try opening the page in Safari first to confirm it loads, then try clipping again. If extraction still fails, tap the manual edit button after clipping to correct the ingredients or instructions.
How do I cancel my Pare Premium subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone, find Pare, and tap Cancel Subscription. You'll keep premium access until the current billing period ends.
I can't restore my purchase after reinstalling the app.
Open Pare, go to Settings, and tap "Restore Purchases". Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID used when you originally subscribed. If the issue persists, contact us with your Apple ID email (not your password) and we'll look into it.
Will my recipes sync across my iPhone and iPad?
Yes — enable iCloud Sync in Settings → iCloud Sync. Your recipes will appear on any device signed into the same iCloud account with Pare installed.
How do I clip a recipe from Safari?
Find a recipe page in Safari, tap the Share button (box with an arrow), scroll down and tap "Pare". The recipe will be extracted and saved to your library automatically.
The screen keeps turning off while I'm cooking.
Pare has a built-in cooking mode that keeps the screen awake. Open any saved recipe and scroll to the instructions — the screen stays on while you're on the recipe detail page.
How do I delete all my recipes?
Individual recipes can be deleted by swiping left on them in your library. To remove all data, delete the Pare app from your device. If iCloud Sync is enabled, also delete the Pare data from Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage.
Is my recipe data private?
Yes. Your recipes are stored locally on your device and never uploaded to our servers. If you enable iCloud Sync, your data is synced through your personal iCloud account using Apple's infrastructure — we have no access to it.
